Job summary

DPD Group in the UK is seeking a reliable LGV Driver to join our team, driving a modern fleet and keeping the country moving. This permanent role features a 40-hour week, with a day pattern Monday to Friday and a 13:45–01:45 shift.

You will hold a UK Class 1 licence with CPC and digital tachograph, plus 12+ months of Class 1 experience, and you’ll navigate UK roads safely while delivering great service.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence, CPC Card, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• 12+ months of experience handling Class 1 vehicles.
• Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads and a safety-first mindset.
• Resourceful problem-solver who can work under pressure and hit deadlines while delivering great service.

Responsibilities

• Move bulk collections between DPD sites and major customers.
• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries to LGV-friendly locations.
• Manage trailer swaps and live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
• Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers across the country.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and prioritise safe driving in all conditions.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be a key player in our national transport department, moving bulk collections between DPD sites and major customers.

Qualifications

What You Bring
