Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking an experienced LGV Class 1 Driver for DHL International at Cross Green, Leeds, for the busy seasonal period from November through to Christmas.

Role offers great pay (£22.43/hour), overtime (£29.45/hour) after 45 hours, trunking work with no handball, Monday–Friday starts around 20:00, and weekly pay. Full training and pension provision are provided, with 28 days holiday pro rata PAYE.

Qualifications

• Pass a driving assessment (no minimum years of experience)
• Criminal record check provided
• 2-year work history that can be checked (gaps over 28 days need a gap reference)
• Provide a 2-year address history
• Valid photo ID (passport, driving licence or ID card)

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 1 vehicle to and from Slough
• Perform pre/post vehicle checks and report problems
• Maintain accurate records and proof of delivery/collection
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery and collection points

The Best Connection Group are seeking an experienced LGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client, DHL International, at their site based at Cross Green, Leeds for the busy seasonal period from November through to Christmas.

As we work at an airport regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority, all applicants must:

• Pass a driving assessment (no minimum years of experience needed)
