Job summary

Biffa Waste Services in Abingdon is seeking an experienced LGV 2 Sweeper Driver to operate a road sweeper safely and efficiently, on a Monday to Friday schedule (42.5 hours per week) with start times from 05:30 to 14:30. The role pays an hourly rate of £19.87 and involves outdoor work to keep roads and public areas clean.

Responsibilities include daily vehicle checks, following planned routes, and leading teams where required.

Qualifications

• Full, valid UK driving licence with appropriate category (Category C for rigid HGV sweeper).
• Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card (DQC) where required.
• Digital Tachograph Card where required for vehicle and duties.

We are looking for an experienced and reliable LGV 2 Sweeper Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for operating a road sweeper safely and efficiently, helping to keep roads, public areas and surrounding environments clean and well maintained.

• Full, valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for the vehicle (usually Category C for a rigid HGV sweeper).
