Job summary

Biffa is hiring an LGV Driver Loader to operate our waste collection fleet on a Monday–Friday outdoor shift. You will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collect and empty bins and boxes from households, and assist with street cleansing tasks such as sweeping and litter picking.

We value initiative and teamwork. The role requires a valid LGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, and knowledge of driving hours and tachograph regulations; training and PPE are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and driving regulations.
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
• Comfortable working as part of a crew.
• Willingness to support other crew members with loading, unloading and other operational duties.
• Able to follow health & safety procedures and company policies.

LGV Driver Loader

Days of work: Monday to Friday

Shift: 06:30-15:00

Pay: £17.35 per hour

Working as part of a crew, you will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, and boxes from householders and carrying out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking..
