Job summary

Biffa Group is seeking a LGV 2 Driver for AM shifts in Hersden. You will operate front and back loaders, collecting trade waste from customer sites, Monday to Friday, starting at 04:00 and finishing around 13:30. Enjoy outdoor work that makes a tangible difference to local communities.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card.
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety.
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects; knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements.
• Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Good awareness of health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles including front and back loaders to collect and empty trade waste bins for customers.
• Work outdoors, using own initiative and aiming to improve local environmental outcomes.

LGV 2 Driver - AM Shifts (Trade Waste Driver)

Monday to Friday

Start/Finish Times: 04.00 to 13.30

£16.87p/h +, Daily Bonus, Overtime available

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
