Job summary

Biffa Group is recruiting an LGV Driver for an AM shift on a fixed-term contract to cover sickness absence in Tipton. Start time 04:00, Monday to Friday with overtime available.

You will operate LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins from trade waste customers. This outdoor role lets you work with initiative, contribute to the local environment, and enjoy benefits such as on-the-job training and Perkz discounts; Biffa champions diversity and aims to improve

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence with Category C entitlement.
• Hold a valid Driver CPC qualification and a digital tachograph card.
• Have no more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
• Be able to carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safe driving and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles including front and back loaders to collect and empty bins for trade waste customers.
• Work outdoors with a proactive, initiative-driven approach.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Provide reliable customer service and communicate effectively with the team.

LGV Driver - AM SHIFT Fixed Term Contract (To cover sickness absence)

Start Time: 04:00

£16.87p/h

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
