Job summary

Biffa Group is seeking an LGV Driver for the AM shift in the United Kingdom. The role runs Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week with overtime available. You will drive LGV vehicles to collect and empty bins for trade waste customers, often outdoors and requiring initiative and reliability.

Starting at 04:00, you will help keep local environments clean. A valid UK Category C (Class 2) licence, CPC and Tachograph card are required, along with good timekeeping and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and road transport legislation.
• Health and safety awareness and ability to follow procedures.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Flexible and reliable with good timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles to collect and empty bins from trade waste customers.
• Follow health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks and report defects.
• Work as part of a small crew or independently.

LGV Driver - AM SHIFT

Monday to Friday (45 hours per week with overtime available)

Hourly rate: £16.87

Start Time: 04.00

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.

A valid UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
