Job summary

Biffa Group is seeking an LGV 2 Driver for the AM shift, Monday to Friday, starting at 05:00. You will operate LGV vehicles including front and back loaders to collect and empty bins from trade waste customers, working outdoors and using your initiative to support local environmental goals.

The role requires a valid UK Category C (Class 2) licence, CPC and Tachograph, and a strong understanding of driving hours. Good communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Holder of a valid UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and road transport legislation.
• Good level of health and safety awareness and ability to follow procedures.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Flexible and reliable with good timekeeping.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous LGV Class 2 driving experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles including front and back loaders to collect and empty bins from trade waste customers.
• Work on a Monday–Friday AM shift, starting at 05:00, outdoors.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks and report defects.

LGV 2 Driver - AM Shift

Monday to Friday

Start Time: 05.00

Pay: £16.87p/h

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
