Job summary

Biffa Waste Services is seeking an LGV 2 Driver for an AM shift in the United Kingdom. The role runs Monday to Friday with occasional weekend cover and starts at 05:00, finishing around 14:30. The job involves operating LGV vehicles to collect and empty bins from trade waste customers and outdoors work.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements
• Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Good awareness of health & safety procedures

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
