Job summary

Biffa Group is seeking an LGV Driver for the AM shift, Monday to Friday with overtime available. Start time is 04:00, and pay is £16.87 per hour. You will operate LGV trucks to collect and empty trade waste from customers, working outdoors and using initiative to make a tangible environmental impact.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to hours rules, and excellent service to communities. Training is provided, and there are family-friendly, employee-perk benefits available.

Qualifications

• UK Category C (Class 2) LGV licence is required.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and road transport legislation is essential.
• Strong health and safety awareness and ability to follow procedures are required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles (front and back loaders) to collect and empty trade waste bins.

Job description

LGV Driver - AM SHIFT

Monday - Friday (overtime available)

Start Tine: 04:00

£16.87p/h

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
