Job summary

Biffa Group in the United Kingdom is seeking an LGV 2 Driver for PM shifts in trade waste. You will drive front and back loaders, collecting bins from trade waste customers, on a Monday to Friday schedule with occasional weekend work.

Start times 13:30 to 23:00 and pay at £16.87 per hour plus back shift allowance and a daily bonus. This outdoor role requires initiative and contributes to the local environment and communities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LGV/HGV Class 2 licence and CPC card.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachographs.
• Ability to perform daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Awareness of road safety and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV trade waste vehicles as part of a single-person crew.
• Collect and empty bins from trade waste customers.
• Work Monday to Friday with occasional weekend shifts.
• Adhere to road safety rules and company procedures.

LGV 2 Driver - PM Shifts (Trade Waste Driver)

Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday/Sunday work.

Start / Finish Times: 13:30 to 23.00

£16.87p/h + Back Shift Allowance and daily bonus.

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
