Biffa is seeking an LGV Driver Loader in Wokingham to operate waste collection vehicles, loading bins, boxes and bags from households while assisting with street cleansing tasks.

The role is outdoors, requires initiative and teamwork, and offers opportunities to lead a crew on a 40-hour week (Mon-Fri). Start times are 06:00 to 14:30 with a 30-minute unpaid break.

Competenze

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements
• Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Good awareness of health & safety procedures

Mansioni

LGV Driver Loader

Location: Wokingham

Days of work: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

Start/Finish Times: 06.00 to 14.30 (30 mins unpaid break)

Hourly Rate: £15.86

Working as part of a crew, you will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, boxes and bags from householders and carrying out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.
