Job summary

Biffa Waste Services is seeking an LGV 2 Driver for the AM shift. You will operate LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting waste from trade customers. The role suits someone who enjoys outdoor work and taking initiative to improve local environments.

The position offers early start times (04:00) and a Monday–Friday routine with occasional weekend cover. Train in-house and access Biffa Perkz discounts as part of our team benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card (DQC).
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles including front and back loaders to collect and empty bins for trade waste customers.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Adhere to drivers’ hours and tachograph requirements; operate safely in urban and rural environments.

LGV 2 Driver - AM Shift

£16.87p/h

Monday to Friday (occasional weekend cover)

Start Time: 04:00

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
