Job summary

Biffa Group is seeking a LGV 2 Driver for the AM shift. You will drive front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins for trade waste customers, starting at 04:00, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend cover.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card.
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety.
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements.
• Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Good awareness of health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles including front and back loaders to collect bins from trade waste customers.
• Work as part of a single person crew, outdoors, on a local route.
• Use initiative to complete daily tasks and contribute to community/environment goals.

LGV 2 Driver - AM Shift

£16.87p/h

Monday to Friday (occasional weekend cover)

Start Time: 04:00

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
