Job summary

Biffa Group in Welham Green is seeking an LGV 2 ADR Driver to join our hazardous waste transport team. You will safely operate an LGV Class 2 vehicle, perform daily checks, secure loads and complete all required documentation in line with ADR, Health & Safety and company procedures.

Starting times are around 06:00, Monday to Friday, with overtime available. A valid LGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph Card and ADR qualification (desirable) are required or highly preferred; ADR

Qualifications

• Hold a valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Hold a valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• ADR qualification appropriate to the role (desirable).
• ADR driving experience is highly desirable.
• Experience within the waste, recycling, environmental or hazardous waste industry would be advantageous.
• Good understanding of ADR regulations, vehicle safety and Health & Safety procedures.
• Able to safely load, transport and unload ADR/hazardous materials in accordance with company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an LGV Class 2 vehicle to collect and transport ADR/hazardous waste.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure loads are securely fastened.
• Complete all required documentation and comply with ADR, Health & Safety and company procedures.

Location: Welham Green AL9 7HF

£17.14p/h + South Eastly Allowance £113.79 per month

Monday to Friday 45 hours per week (Overtime available)
