Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a Complex Needs SEN Teaching Assistant to work with pupils aged 11 to 19 in Lewisham and surrounding areas. You will support class teachers, provide one-to-one assistance, and help with sensory learning activities. Some personal care and mobility support may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting pupils with SEN or disabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with personal care and mobility support.

Responsibilities

• Support across multiple classes and some one-to-one TA work in SEN schools in Lewisham.
• Assist with delivery of sensory curriculum based activities and behavioural support.
• Work as part of a TA team to help pupils access learning and participate.
