Job summary

Senovo Resourcing Ltd is seeking a dedicated Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex learning, communication and physical needs in Lewisham.

The role is temporary with PAYE pay of £105–£140 per day. You will help pupils access lessons, use visual and communication strategies, and collaborate closely with teaching, therapy and care teams. QTS is not required for this classroom-support role.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.
• A calm, reliable approach and strong communication with colleagues.
• Sound professional boundaries and safeguarding awareness.
• QTS is not required for this classroom-support role.

Responsibilities

• Help pupils access lessons, communication activities and daily routines.
• Use agreed visual, sensory and communication strategies.
• Provide personal-care support only when trained and authorised.
• Work closely with teaching, therapy and care colleagues.
