Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Leveraged Loans Transaction Management Specialist within the Credit Products Delivery team.

You will serve as a transaction-management partner for clients of the Commercial & Investment Bank, negotiating and reviewing credit facility documents and managing end-to-end leveraged loan transactions. You will collaborate with client coverage teams, Risk partners, legal counsel, and agent banks to deliver best-in-class documentation and support deal closings.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of loan documentation (LMA Syndicated Facilities; Financial Sponsor terms).
• Strong understanding of lending products and associated legal agreements.
• Ability to identify problems and accelerate them promptly.
• Excellent coordination skills with a strong focus on risk & controls.
• Proven organisation skills, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication with stakeholders globally.
• Confident, proactive, and energetic with high performance standards.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly-changing business and tech environment.
• Think strategically and tactically to improve processes amid change.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class management of loan documentation negotiations as part of deal execution for credit facilities and related legal docs, including deal-closing oversight
• Face clients or their counsel in collaboration with Front Office Bankers and Credit Risk Officers to review documentation
• Liaise with internal/external counsel in reviewing facility documentation on behalf of JP Morgan
• Draw on transactional, geographic, or sectoral expertise to suggest mitigants and drive timely resolutions
• Operate within the internal controls framework, coordinating approvals for deviations during negotiations
• Actively contribute to wider projects and initiatives impacting the role and team
