Level 6 Quantity Surveyor Apprenticeship Nuclear

About the Nuclear Sector

With over a decade of experience, we focus on delivering world-class infrastructure within the UK’s nuclear sector, handling projects from design and construction to full lifecycle management, prioritizing responsible engineering and innovation.

Role Responsibilities

  1. Administration of contracts
  2. Producing construction forecasts
  3. Preparing payment applications
  4. Maintaining accurate records of works
  5. Establishing quantities from drawings
  6. Managing civil engineering projects with quality and security considerations
  7. Effective communication with project teams and stakeholders
  8. Working independently and as part of a team
  9. Ensuring compliance with EDI and ethical standards

Alongside on-site work, you'll attend college at Nottingham campus, with accommodation and travel provided, to develop your technical skills and industry knowledge.

About the Role

A Quantity Surveyor manages project costs, from initial estimates to final accounts, ensuring legal and quality standards are met. As a trainee, you'll support financial control, reporting, and commercial performance across projects.

Candidate Requirements

Start date: 8th September 2025

Degree: BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management

Duration: 5 years + 6-12 months for assessment

Location: Cumbria, with block release at Nottingham

Hours: 37.5/week, Monday-Friday

Salary: £12.91/hour
