Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced Assigned Checker to ensure all mechanical project documentation and data are checked and formally approved before issue to clients.

Scope of Role

• Perform verification of own and the engineering team's work as an assigned checker through the drawing check and approval process.
• Ensure work is fit for purpose, meets customer requirements, and adheres to standards and procedures.
• Identify errors and omissions conflicting with specifications and policies, including reference drawings, design calculations, and risk assessments.

The Person

• Degree with honours or Level 6 equivalent.
• Chartered Engineer or equivalent.
• Several years’ experience in mechanical design engineering.
• Experience in a highly regulated industry, preferably nuclear.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
