Job summary

Brandon James is seeking an experienced Level 4 Fire Risk Assessor to join a growing fire safety consultancy in Greater London. The role involves delivering detailed fire risk assessments across diverse properties, identifying deficiencies, and providing clear recommendations.

The successful candidate will have Level 4 competency, experience with complex FRAs, and solid knowledge of the Fire Safety Order 2005, with excellent report writing and client-facing skills. Driving licence is required.

Level 4 Fire Risk Assessor | Fire Safety Consultancy | Permanent

An established and growing fire safety organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Level 4 Fire Risk Assessor to support a varied portfolio of properties and clients.

This opportunity is specifically aimed at an Advanced / Level 4 Fire Risk Assessor. Candidates must be able to demonstrate competency at Level 4 or an equivalent advanced standard, with the experience required to undertake complex fire risk assessments independently.

The Fire Risk Assessor’s Role

The Fire Risk Assessor will be responsible for completing detailed fire risk assessments across a range of complex buildings and environments. The successful Fire Risk Assessor will identify fire safety deficiencies, provide clear and proportionate recommendations, and produce high-quality technical reports.

The Fire Risk Assessor will also liaise with clients and stakeholders, provide technical fire safety advice and ensure assessments are completed in line with current legislation, guidance and recognised industry standards.

The Fire Risk Assessor

The successful candidate will have:

• Level 4 / Advanced Fire Risk Assessor competency - essential
• Proven experience completing complex fire risk assessments
• Strong knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and wider fire safety legislation
• Relevant fire safety qualifications, such as Level 4 Fire Risk Assessment, Fire Safety Diploma or equivalent
• Membership or registration with a recognised fire safety body would be advantageous
• Excellent report‑writing and client‑facing skills
• A full UK driving licence
