Job summary

Powys County Council and Welshpool CiW School are seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join the dedicated staff. You will work under teaching staff guidance to support learning, assist individuals and groups, and contribute to the general care, safety and welfare of pupils.

The role requires DBS enhanced disclosure and two references before taking up post. The position is 27.5 hours per week on a permanent basis, with interviews scheduled in mid-October 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learning in a primary setting.
• DBS enhanced disclosure required and two references.
