The school is seeking a passionate team player for a short-term role, with potential for a long-term, salaried placement for the right SEND Learning Support Assistant / SEND LSA. The successful candidate will bring new skills, be eager to develop their abilities to meet individual needs, and have a positive impact on the school community.

The role involves working with students across all Key Stages. Since students have difficulties managing their behaviour, experience with de-escalation strategies and Team Teach training is desirable. A proactive approach and confidence in managing situations are necessary.

The ideal SEMH Learning Support Assistant / SEMH LSA will have:

1. Experience working with children with SEND
2. Experience supporting students with SEMH and challenging behaviours
3. Level 2 or 3 CACHE qualification or equivalent
4. Team-Teach or MAPA qualifications are desirable
