Aspire People are recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a long-term placement at a primary school in Coalville, Leicestershire. The role is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday position with a long-term commitment and the opportunity to become a valued member of one school's team.

You will support the class teacher, deliver one-to-one and small-group interventions, and help pupils develop confidence and positive learning habits in a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Experience in a UK school setting.
• Passionate about children's education and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, organised and committed to a full-time role.
• Confident working with teachers and education professionals.
• Understanding safeguarding and child protection procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the class teacher with daily lessons and classroom activities.
• Delivering one-to-one and small-group interventions to help pupils develop their skills.
• Helping children build confidence, independence and positive learning habits.
• Providing additional support to pupils with learning difficulties.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in the classroom.
• Assisting with preparation of teaching resources and learning materials.
• Monitoring pupil progress and sharing feedback with the class teacher.
• Maintaining a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Working collaboratively with school staff to ensure pupils receive support they need.
