Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a confident Level 3 Teaching Assistant for full-time positions in Croydon. You will support EYFS to KS2, deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions, and assist pupils with SEND while promoting positive behaviour within well-resourced primary schools.

The role requires Level 3 TA qualification, UK primary school experience, and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service. Competitive daily pay and permanent-contract opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience working in UK primary schools.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential).
• Strong safeguarding and behaviour management.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Deliver small groups and 1:1 interventions.
• Assist pupils with SEND, including autism and SEMH needs.
• Support phonics, reading, writing and maths.
• Promote positive behaviour and maintain a calm learning environment.
• Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs.
