Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a CACHE Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in partner primary schools and SEN provisions in and around Evesham. The role involves delivering targeted interventions and supporting SEND needs, under the guidance of classroom teachers.

This opportunity offers access to Introductory Skills & Strategies CPD, development of behaviour and emotional literacy skills, and paths to HLTA or SEND specialist roles.

Qualifications

• CACHE Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working within a school setting.
• Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, proactive and nurturing approach.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 within the classroom.
• Delivering targeted interventions to individuals and small groups.
• Supporting pupils with SEND, including Autism, ADHD and Speech and Language needs.
• Assisting the class teacher with planning and classroom preparation.
• Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
• Supporting pupils' social, emotional and educational development.
• Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and support staff.
