Job summary

Forge Valley School in Sheffield is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join the Integrated Resource/SEND Specialist. You will work with pupils who have autism and communication difficulties, supporting access to mainstream lessons with enhanced TA support.

The role requires delivering interventions, building positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff, and contributing to safeguarding and inclusive practice. This is a full-time, term-time position based at Forge Valley School.

Qualifications

The pupils are taught in mainstream lessons with enhanced TA support.We also have a Support for Learning Team which provides support for mainstream pupils with a range of SEND. This role is to work as part of a team of Teaching Assistants, and alongside subject teachers. The role also involves delivering interventions to develop academic, social communication and emotional regulation skills.The children with whom you would be working will have a range of SEND.
