LEVEL 3 TEACHING ASSISTANT - Integrated Resource/SEND Specialist - 32.5 Hours per week, 39 Weeks per year

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant at Level 3 to join our hardworking and supportive SEND Department.

We are an inclusive school who always work hard to make our practice as good as it possibly can be for all the pupils. We have an Integrated Resource here at Forge Valley School which provides support for pupils with Autism/communication difficulties. The pupils are taught in mainstream lessons with enhanced TA support.

We also have a Support for Learning Team which provides support for mainstream pupils with a range of SEND. This role is to work as part of a team of Teaching Assistants, and alongside subject teachers. The role also involves delivering interventions to develop academic, social communication and emotional regulation skills.

The children with whom you would be working will have a range of SEND. You will be required to understand and support children facing these barriers.
