Job summary

Academics Ltd in Herne Bay is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a full-time role starting as soon as possible. You’ll work with teaching staff to support pupils across KS1 and KS2, helping with learning and classroom activities.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 TA qualification and have school experience, with SEN experience preferred. You must follow safeguarding policies and hold a current DBS or be willing to apply for one. Driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

We're looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to take on a full-time role at a school in Herne Bay, starting as soon as possible.

You’ll be working alongside teaching staff to support pupils across KS1 and KS2, helping with learning, classroom activities and individual pupil needs.

This role would suit someone who:

• Has a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification


• Has previous experience working with children in a school environment


• Has SEN experience (preferred)


• Is confident supporting pupils who present challenging behaviour


• Can remain calm, consistent and professional in difficult situations


• Understands and follows school safeguarding procedures and policies


• Knows the importance of maintaining professional boundaries and reporting safeguarding concerns


• Has a valid DBS or is willing to apply for one


• Has a driving licence (preferred)
