Empowering Learning is seeking an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support primary pupils in Teesside. Responsibilities include assisting teachers, supporting 1:1 and small group work, and helping create an inclusive learning environment.

The role offers day-to-day and long-term placements with ongoing professional development and a supportive consultant. A Level 3 TA qualification and safeguarding commitment are essential.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and recent UK Primary School experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Support students with learning through one-on-one assistance and small group interventions.
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Promote social and emotional development, boosting confidence and independence.
• Assist with implementation of IEPs and behaviour management strategies.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to meet the individual needs of students.
• Contribute to the planning and preparation of teaching resources and materials.
