Job summary

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience supporting children with SEND.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A calm, patient and nurturing approach.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a school team.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with SEND across the primary age range.
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support.
• Helping pupils access the curriculum and develop their independence.
• Supporting children with autism, ADHD and additional learning needs.
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO.
• Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
