Job summary

Justteachers Ltd. is recruiting an experienced Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to support students across Key Stages 3, 4 and Post-16 in Evesham from September 2026. The role is full-time and focuses on preparing young people with additional needs for adulthood, independence and future opportunities.

You will work with students with Autism, SEMH, SLD, PMLD and complex communication needs to access academic and life-skills-based learning programmes, under the guidance of teaching staff.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working with young people with SEN in secondary or specialist settings.
• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and organisational abilities.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN.
• Support access to academic, vocational and life-skills learning.
• Promote independence, confidence and positive social interactions.
• Assist with behaviour management plans and emotional regulation.
• Record and report on student progress and wellbeing.
