Job summary

TeacherActive Limited. is partnering with a mainstream Secondary School in Wakefield to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant.

The role covers day-to-day or long-term cover across KS3/KS4, providing classroom and 1:1 SEND support to help GCSE and A Level students progress, with a supportive onboarding process and CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting students within a secondary school.
• Experience across Key Stage 3/ KS3 and Key Stage 4/ KS4.
• Experience providing 1:1 SEND support.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day or long-term cover in Wakefield.
• Support students across KS3/KS4 and GCSE/A Level studies.
• Assist with classroom management and targeted SEND support as needed.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School in Wakefield who are looking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. The school provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and academic progress.

The school is looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to provide day-to-day or long-term cover, supporting students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful Level 3 Teaching Assistant will provide classroom and 1:1 SEND support where required, alongside supporting students with their GCSE and A Level studies.

The successful Level 3 Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience supporting students within a secondary school
• Experience working across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Experience providing 1:1 SEND support
• Confidence supporting GCSE and A Level students
• A patient, adaptable and supportive approach
