Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with a welcoming primary school in Enfield to appoint an experienced Level 3 Nursery Room Lead for a 2-3 year old provision. You will lead daily operations, plan EYFS activities and create a safe, engaging space for children to learn through play.

The role requires a Level 3 EY qualification, EYFS knowledge, and a commitment to safeguarding and inclusion, with term-time hours and a fixed-term contract through August 2027.

Full-time | Fixed-Term Temporary Contract | Start Date: Immediate | Contract: Until 31 August 2027 | Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15 am to 3:45 pm | Pay: £110-£120 per day (PAYE)

Role Summary

As Nursery Room Lead, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the 2-3-year-old provision, creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where children can learn through play and exploration.

Candidate Requirements

• A relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
• Experience working within an Early Years setting
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
• Experience supporting children aged 2-3 years
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• A commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and child-centred practice

Pay and Progression

The daily rate for this position is £110-£120 per day, paid via PAYE. The highest rate of £120 per day is available to candidates who can demonstrate substantial Early Years experience, strong EYFS knowledge, experience leading or supporting a nursery room, and the ability to make an immediate positive impact within the provision.
