Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with a welcoming primary school in Enfield to appoint an experienced Level 3 Nursery Room Lead for a 2-3 year old provision. You will lead daily operations, plan EYFS activities and create a safe, engaging space for children to learn through play.

The role requires a Level 3 EY qualification, EYFS knowledge, and a commitment to safeguarding and inclusion, with term-time hours and a fixed-term contract through August 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Early Years setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Experience supporting 2-3 year olds.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and child-centred practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the 2-3 year old provision.
• Plan and deliver engaging EYFS learning experiences.
• Create a welcoming and stimulating learning environment.
• Support children's communication, language, social, emotional and physical development.
• Monitor children's progress through observations and assessments.
• Establish positive routines and high expectations.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and families.
• Support children with additional needs where required.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to learning journeys.
• Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures.
