Job summary

Teach Plus are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Lambeth that is looking to appoint a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join its Early Years team as soon as possible.

This school is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner who understands the importance of early childhood development and can help create a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant Level 3 childcare or Early Years qualification essential.
• Experience in a Nursery, EYFS or primary school setting desirable.
• Understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Caring, patient and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support children within the Nursery setting.
• Deliver and assist with age-appropriate, play-based activities.
• Promote children's communication, language and social development.
• Encourage independence, confidence and positive relationships.
• Support observations and assessments of children's development.
• Work alongside the class teacher and other Early Years staff.
• Help maintain a safe, engaging and well-organised environment.
• Support daily routines, transitions and children's wellbeing.
• Adapt support to meet children's individual needs.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies.
