Teach Plus are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Tower Hamlets that is looking to appoint a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join its Early Years team as soon as possible.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will support play-based learning, encourage communication and social development, and work closely with the Nursery Teacher and wider EYFS team. Previous experience in a primary school or nursery setting would be beneficial.

Qualificações

• Previous experience in a Nursery, EYFS or Early Years setting desirable.
• Relevant childcare or Early Years qualification advantageous.
• Understanding of child development and play-based learning.
• Patient, caring and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, proactive and adaptable.
• Able to support children with a range of needs.
• Genuine passion for working with young children.

Responsabilidades

• Support children within the Nursery setting.
• Assist with play-based learning and practical activities.
• Encourage communication, language and social development.
• Promote children's independence and confidence.
• Work alongside the Nursery Teacher and wider EYFS team.
• Support children with different developmental needs.
• Help maintain a safe, stimulating and well-organised environment.
• Assist with classroom routines and transitions.
• Observe children's progress and share relevant information with staff.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies.
