Job summary

TeacherActive is partnering with a Dartford nursery to recruit a dedicated Nursery Practitioner for a long-term role starting September. You will provide a safe, inclusive environment, lead purposeful play, manage key children, support development and safeguarding practices.

The ideal candidate holds a Level 3 in Early Years or Childcare, has experience with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, and a good knowledge of EYFS. You will join a supportive team with CPD opportunities and competitive pay.

Job Title: Nursery Practitioner

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a nursery in Dartford that supports children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years. The setting is looking for a dedicated Nursery Practitioner who can provide a safe and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to learn and develop.

The nursery is looking to take on a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner on a long-term basis from September. The successful Nursery Practitioner will lead purposeful play, take responsibility for key children, support their development and ensure safeguarding and inclusive practice remain at the heart of their care.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare


• Experience working with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years


• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS


• The ability to lead purposeful play and take responsibility for key children


• A strong understanding of safeguarding and keeping children safe


• A positive and inclusive approach to supporting children
