Job summary

Beech Hall School Ltd is seeking a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join the team at Akeley Wood Nursery and Junior School in Buckingham. This 40-hour-per-week, permanent role runs Monday to Friday with a start in October 2026. The salary is up to £29,500 per annum, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 3 in Childcare or Early Years is required.
• Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships with families and colleagues.
• Experience or understanding of safeguarding in early years settings would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing, fun, and engaging environment for children.
• Support learning and development through play-based activities.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Act as a Key Worker, observe and track progress.
• Support daily routines (meals, rest, transitions).
• Promote positive behaviour and independence.
• Maintain safeguarding, health, safety, and wellbeing standards.
