Job summary

Akeley Wood Junior School, part of Blenheim, is seeking a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner for the Nursery team at Akeley Wood. This permanent, full-time role runs 40 hours per week across 52 weeks, with shifts 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm.

You will provide high-quality care, support planned activities, build trusting relationships with children and families, and work as a Key Worker to track progress. Apprentices are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Level 3 childcare qualification (or above) is essential.
• Experience in a nursery or Early Years setting is desirable.
• Diligence with safeguarding and child development.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children in our Nursery.
• Support planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities.
• Build warm relationships with children and families and maintain clear communication.
• Act as a Key Worker, observing and documenting each child’s progress.
