Job summary

Caring Kindergartens is seeking a dedicated early years practitioner with a Level 3 childcare qualification to join our friendly team. You will work as a key worker, observe and record progress, and plan play experiences that promote physical, intellectual and emotional development within the EYFS framework.

We value reflective practice, strong communication, DBS clearance and commitment to safeguarding. The nursery offers ongoing training, a supportive culture and opportunities across our group.

Qualifications

• Level 3 childcare qualification, recognised by the Department for Education.
• Good understanding of the EYFS.
• Excellent understanding of the English language, spoken and written.
• Clear DBS check.
• Previous childcare experience in an early year setting.

Responsibilities

• Observe, record and assess progress of a group of children as key worker.
• Develop high quality interactions to extend thinking and learning.
• Plan and deliver play experiences promoting development across physical, intellectual and emotional domains.
• Ensure activities are drawn from next steps, observations and interests under EYFS.
• Support children in developing self-esteem, confidence and feelings of competence.
• Maintain hygiene in line with Caring Kindergartens policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive nursery team.
