Job summary

Plus Staff Recruitment is seeking a qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or 3) to join a Croydon nursery. You will act as a key worker for a small group of children, planning activities using the EYFS framework and documenting learning journeys.

The role requires experience with 0-5 age groups, strong safeguarding knowledge, and excellent communication with families. A full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary is offered, including DBS checks and references.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 Childcare Qualification (required).
• Experience with children aged 0-5 is essential.
• Strong EYFS knowledge and safeguarding practices.
• Excellent communication with children, parents and colleagues.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key worker for a small group of children.
• Plan daily activities and provide play and learning opportunities using EYFS.
• Write learning journeys for key children and contribute to room planning.
• Ensure a safe, stimulating and supportive environment for development.
• Monitor progress and share information with parents and carers.
• Carry out duties associated with caring for your key group and supporting the daily nursery routine.
