Job summary

Sunshine Day Nurseries are part of Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for Level 3-qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our Sunshine Day Nursery teams at Sheffield's Royal Hallamshire hospital, offering year-round childcare to NHS and hospital staff.

As well as day-to-day childcar ing, you’ll be responsible for preparing and organising a wide range of learning activities and resources, maintaining communication with parents and supporting staff development.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Nursery Practitioner in delivering high-quality care and practice.
• Create and maintain an interesting and stimulating environment for children of various ages.
• Plan and implement learning activities using the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and Ofsted guidelines.
• Prepare children’s work for display and ensure it promotes self-esteem.
• Provide information displays for parents and carers.
• Coordinate timely organisation and collection of nursery resources.
