Job summary

Stafflex Education is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our supply team across Huddersfield for the Autumn term. You will deliver high-quality care, learning and play for children aged 0-5, in line with the EYFS framework, within welcoming nurseries and settings.

You'll support daily routines, develop language, social and emotional skills, and work closely with nursery staff to meet each child’s needs. This flexible role offers day-to-day, short-term and longer-term placements.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent).
• Experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Understanding EYFS framework and child development.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• References and safeguarding checks completed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care, learning and play for children aged 0-5.
• Support development in line with EYFS framework.
• Create a safe, stimulating environment encouraging curiosity and creativity.
• Support daily routines (feeding, changing, sleep).
• Foster language, social, emotional and physical development through play.
• Collaborate with nursery staff to meet each child's needs.
• Build positive relationships with children, colleagues and families.
