Job summary

Stafflex Education is seeking a passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to support early years settings across Huddersfield this Autumn term. You will provide high-quality care and learning for children aged 0-5, working within EYFS frameworks and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Essential: Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
• Experience in nursery or early years setting.
• Understanding of EYFS framework and child development.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to obtain one.
• Satisfactory references and safeguarding checks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care, learning and play for children aged 0-5 years.
• Support development in line with EYFS framework.
• Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.
• Support daily routines, including feeding, changing and sleep times.
• Encourage children's language, social, emotional and physical development.
• Work collaboratively with nursery staff to meet each child's needs.
• Build positive relationships with children, colleagues and families.
• Follow nursery policies and maintain safeguarding and child welfare standards.
