Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is seeking a motivated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for a Good Ofsted-rated setting. The role involves delivering high-quality care and education, playing a key part in play-based learning, and supporting children's development in a warm, home-from-home environment.

The 30-hour-per-week post requires holding a Level 3 Early Years qualification, experience in a nursery, and a solid understanding of the EYFS framework.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification and be able to implement the EYFS framework.
• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting is essential.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and ability to follow child protection procedures.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and relationship-building with children and families.
• Warm, caring, and child-centred approach to childcare.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and participate in engaging, play-based learning experiences.
• Support children's emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development.
• Make full use of indoor and outdoor learning environments, including the vegetable patch.
• Encourage curiosity, confidence and independence through exploration.
• Observe, assess, and monitor children's progress and development.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery standards at all times.
