Job summary

Five Education is seeking a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming Weston-super-Mare nursery, delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities for children aged 0–5 within an EYFS setting.

If you hold a Level 2 qualification or are working towards Level 3, we would still love to hear from you. The role offers a supportive team, clear progression, DBS support, and access to specialist training, with a friendly community atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
• Experience with children aged 0–5 years.
• Solid understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Caring, patient and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities following the EYFS framework
• Support children's personal, social, and emotional development
• Observe and record children's progress, contributing to learning journals
• Ensure children's safety and wellbeing are prioritised
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Support children with additional needs where appropriate
