Job summary

The Old Station Nursery Group is hiring a Qualified Nursery Practitioner in Newton Abbot. You will support children in a warm, nurturing environment, plan play-based activities, and record developmental progress in line with EYFS.

We welcome Level 2/3 Early Years qualifications or QTS and offer a generous package including a Welcome Bonus and substantial childcare discounts. A commitment to safeguarding and DBS checks is required.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.

• Monitor and celebrate children's development milestones, keeping records for parents.
• Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety and care.
• Be a team player, guiding apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.

Pay: £27,539per annum.based on experience (40 hours per week).
