Job summary

Recruitment Professionals is supporting a well-established nursery in Streatham Hill by recruiting a dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for their Pre-school team. You will provide high-quality care and education for 3–5-year-olds within a stimulating EYFS environment.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will promote children’s learning, independence and confidence, and build positive relationships with children, parents and staff. The role is full-time, with safeguarding and teamwork at its core.

Recruitment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a well-established nursery in Streatham Hill for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their Pre-school team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced early years professional who is passionate about supporting children aged 3–5 years in a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will provide high-quality care and education for children within the Pre-school room, supporting their learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. You will create a stimulating environment, encourage children's independence and confidence, and build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 3–5 years.
• Plan and implement engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress and development.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ensure safeguarding, health, safety, and welfare procedures are followed at all times.
• Work collaboratively with the nursery team to deliver outstanding childcare.

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A caring, enthusiastic, and professional approach to childcare.
• Right to work in the UK.
