Job summary

Warren Mead Infant and Junior Partnership in Banstead is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner on a fixed-term contract to support learning and development in a warm, child-centred setting. You will plan engaging activities, work with colleagues, and build strong relationships with parents and carers to help every child reach their potential.

The role requires a Level 3 qualification, GCSEs in Maths and English, a solid EYFS understanding, and a commitment to safeguarding.

Qualifications

You will play a key role in supporting children’s learning and development, planning engaging activities, and working closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure each child reaches their full potential. What we are looking for

• Holds a full and relevant Level 3 (or above) qualification in childcare
• Achieved GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and child development
• Demonstrates a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Confident in implementing safeguarding procedures and maintaining appropriate boundaries
• Knowledge of keyworker systems, health and safety in a nursery setting, and equal opportunities
• Effective communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

The Details

Start Date:As soon as possible

FTE Salary: £25,877

Pro Rata Salary: £21,643.44

Pay Range: GLF Associate Grade 3.1

Hours:35 hrs per week Monday – Friday 8.00am – 15.30pm (Term time 39 weeks)
